Hey Everybody,
As one more fishing season passes us by, I would like to thank everybody for choosing
our products and supporting Musky Mayhem Tackle LLC. It was the summer of no summer
with unusual cool weather but still a good season of big fish. The whole Mayhem
crew enjoyed several of your fish
pictures throughout the season and took great
pleasure in reading about your success.
My fishing season was also a good one but it seemed to have its ups and downs with several cold fronts almost weekly. As for the big fish it sure seemed they wanted the big profile baits which made the Super Model Cowgirl the go to lure for me this season. I also had a lot of fun working on a few new products this season, testing and making sure they are up to the quality and standards you all demand.
The first new product is our new rod line we are introducing, the Avaio Series. We will be offering both an 8'6" Medium Heavy as well as a 9’ Heavy. These rods are not just for bucktails and throw just about anything you want with ease.
We are also working on a new spinner bait that is showing much promise as a big fish bait. This bait still needs some work before we release it though, as were are not quite sure how to mass produce it yet. In the coming months I will keep you informed on how this is unfolding.
The last product changes I can tell you about are a bunch of new colors that will blow your minds. I got to use them all summer with tons of success, and wait till you see the new blades. I will leave you hanging right there.
Again thanks for another great season and have a great winter.
Sincerely yours,
Brad Hoppe
Hey everybody, we have been hard at this past season and have decided to bring out a few new products.
First off we are introducing some new colors in the line up. The Double Showgirl will have 5 new colors and the Double Cowgirl has 7 new colors and the good old Super Model has 3 new colors. All of the colors have been proven as we got to use them all summer. Also I should add we have 2 new blades in the Double Cowgirl line up. The blades are printed in a walleye pattern and whitefish pattern. I am pretty excited to see what everybody thinks as we will be introducing them in Chicago for the first musky show.
Next we have created our own two rods called the Avaio Series. We named it Avaio after a sea monster in the South pacific. These rods will be introduced at the Chicago Musky show as well and we are looking forward to hearing what you all think. We have a 8'6” Medium Heavy that will cast anything up to a Mag Dawg and the 9' Heavy that will handle any lure up to the pound range. Both of these rods are very well balanced and will provide all day comfort when casting like a machine all day. The rod series has all Fuji guides as well as a Fuji reel seat.
Well, I better get back to work but I look forward to seeing you all this winter at all the shows and can't wait to hear about your success over this past season. Thanks for all the support and take care.

So you want to know what life is like behind the lens? Just imagine what it would be like to travel with your favorite rock band.....Lear jets, decked out tour bus and five star hotels!!! That's right....It's just like that....only a little different. Our jets are powered by an outboard engine, the tour bus has four wheel drive (sometimes) and five star hotels might be a couch in the living room. But hey, you say tomato I say tomatoe right?
My goal here is to give you an inside look at some things that I see and do living the life! Maybe some of it makes the dvd and you can live it with me, and maybe, on occasion, I forgot to hit record and have to write about it instead. What!....the record button isn't that big and sometimes it's hard to push....don't worry Brad, I didn't get the hook set but I got that awesome jump....I think! Either way I will try my best to entertain and inform.
We were on a trip this summer and had a not so good day. Fished hard all day and into the night with not much to show for it other than a few follows. So a bit stressed and disappointed we call it a day and head off to the access. When we arrive I noticed another rig had beaten us to the dock. No big deal right? Of course not. Other than he was by himself. We all know that feeling....Great, he's all alone, gonna tie up the entire dock with his boat, won't be able to back a trailer up to save his sole...blah, blah, blah. So as I walk up to get the truck I notice that he's already got the trailer backed in the water......sweet!!! We'll be out in no time!! So I pull around, get out, put the tail gate down and hop back in the truck. Awesome!! He's already running the boat onto the trailer!! This guy is one of the good ones! While I wait I happen to get a text. So I reach down, grab my phone, check my text and look back up to notice something is missing. What am I not seeing that I should be? Oh yea....the truck I am waiting for is gone!!
