Message From Brad

Hey Everybody,

Brad and Musky at night With the fishing season upon us I must thank all of you for making our show season a good one. It was plenty fun doing the whole show season again and seeing many friends and meeting new friends as well.

I am looking forward to this new fishing and guiding season with some of you that have shared the boat with me before and even a few new clients. The weather warmed much earlier than the past two seasons giving me hope the fish will be a little more predictable and can we say normal? Normal probably is not the best way to explain muskies but oh well as normal as a musky can be I guess.

Carrie and I plan on introducing a few new products sometime this season and if they work half as good as they did this past season I am sure you will be pleased. We are planning on refining and testing for a few more months before their release but they are not to far away.

I would like to thank everybody again for choosing our products and wish all of you the best fishing this season.

Sincerely yours,
Brad Hoppe

Shop Talk

Brad and Musky at night Hi everyone, with the fishing season in full swing we've been hoppin' in the shop. We've been working hard on the old faithfuls and dreaming up some new go to baits. We go through an extensive R & D process to make sure the bait works properly and catch fish so it will be a little while before they come out, but watch throughout the summer for some new Musky Mayhem Tackle LLC products to sneak out.

Don't forget about all the new colors and the our new line of rods we came out with for 2010. There are 7 new colors in the Double Cowgirls, Purple Cisco, Whitefish, Red Craw, Perch, Black Fire, Walleye and Candy Corn, 5 new colors in the Double Showgirls, Whitefish, Red Craw, Black Fire, Walleye, and Candy Corn and 3 new colors in the Super Models, Purple Cisco, Black Fire, Walleye. The Avaio Series rods are built to Musky Mayhem Tackle LLC's strict specifications. They both have Fuji guides from the tip to the Fuji reel seat. They offer through blank construction from the tip to the butt with superior balance providing the angler with less fatigue. Both rods also provide cork handles of 16 inches in length with a slight flared butt grip and a small ergonomic fore grip.

8'6" - Medium Heavy Action - lure weight of 2 - 10 ounces - rod weight 9.34 ounces

9' - Heavy Action - lure weight of 8 - 18 ounces - rod weight 11.0 ounces

They are great all around rods not just for buck tails.

We are also in the process of revamping our online store. I am hoping to have that up and going in the near future, so keep your eyes open for it. We will have some cool new stuff available on it.

Well, I better get back to work so I can go fishing too. Good luck fishing to everyone! Keep those lines tight!

Carrie Hoppe

Comments from the camera guy

So you want to know what life is like behind the lens? Just imagine what it would be like to travel with your favorite rock band.....Lear jets, decked out tour bus and five star hotels!!! That's right.... It's just like that....only a little different. Our jets are powered by an outboard engine, the tour bus has four wheel drive (sometimes) and five star hotels might be a couch in the living room. But hey, you say tomato I say tomatoe right?

My goal here is to give you an inside look at some things that I see and do living the life! Maybe some of it makes the dvd and you can live it with me, and maybe, on occasion, I forgot to hit record and have to write about it instead. What!....the record button isn't that big and sometimes it's hard to push....don't worry Brad, I didn't get the hook set but I got that awesome jump....I think! Either way I will try my best to entertain and inform.

As we ready ourselves, camera equipment and boat for the days events we find that we are quite excited for today's quest. The body of water we were about to explore is known for having big fish and they were being caught on a regular basis the last few days! So with high hopes of finally capturing a BIG fish on film we launched the boat and set our course for The Big One! And little did we know that we would get something BIG on film that day, but how big, and what it would actually be, was a surprise to all involved!
