Musky Mayhem Tackle LLC is owned and operated by professional musky guide Brad Hoppe and his associate Carrie Grove. In 2003 the team started prototypes of the first showgirl with knowledge and experience Musky mayhem Tackle LLC wanted to create something different in the inline spinner bait world. Carrie started with the concept of Flashabou and instead of a regular skirt she used the idea of a bass skirt. The Flashabou breaths incredibly under water and gathers more light thus increasing attractant levels.
The first bait successfully assembled went on a trip with Brad to one of his "Big Fish Spots" and a big fish is was. Brads biggest fish at the time, a 53.5" monster. Brads first thoughts were "Is it a fluke" no new bait can produce like that on its demo run?? But with guide trial runs from multiple pro guides and other Musky Mayhem Tackle LLC pro-staff, Brad and Carrie released their products to the public in January 2005 and their feet haven't hit the ground since. The team, with help from others has developed four individual baits that are now available in eight color concepts.
What sets the Showgirls and Cowgirls apart from the other great bucktails has to be the total design package. With durability, underwater vibration and life like breathable action the baits have consistently grown to be the bait of big fish. The skirts are tied with a variety of colored Flashabou. Our staff spends multiple hours on the water testing color combo's and finding the perfect colors for all types of water, from dark stained lakes to crystal clear bodies of water, the pro-staff has you covered.
One of the newest baits Musky Mayhem tackle LLC has brought to the musky box is the new innovative Double Cowgirl. A midsize inline with tow #10 Colorado blades the bait has only been used by our eight pro-staff members and already subdued 23 fish over 50". From Canada's rough waters to Kentucky's structured lakes this bait is by far the fastest growing lure on the market!
The newest addition to Musky Mayhem's family would be the purchase of the world renowned Eagletail Lures built by George Wahl of Wahl tackle Company. Brad and Carrie have taken it upon themselves to keep the reliable and trusted product ongoing and available to the public. Eagletail lures have been the number one bait on Muskies Inc. Lunge Log for a number of years and the 23 year old bait will still live on continuing its reputation for catching big fish.
